Welcome to Wigan Padel Club. Wigan Padel Club is home to three covered outdoor padel courts located within Wigan Sports Club. Whether you’re completely new to the game or an experienced player looking for regular competition, our friendly and family-focused club offers something for everyone.
We’re passionate about growing padel in the local community and provide social play, coaching, competitions, junior sessions, and events throughout the year.
What is Padel?
Padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports and combines elements of tennis and squash into a fun, social, and easy-to-learn game.
- Played in doubles on an enclosed court.
- The court is approximately two-thirds the size of a tennis court.
- Glass walls and mesh fencing are part of the game and can be used during rallies.
- Scoring follows traditional tennis rules.
- Serves are underarm, making the game easier to learn and enjoy.
Padel is quick to pick up, highly addictive, and suitable for players of all ages and abilities.
